NARS Deep Throat Blusher Review

Hey Everyone!
Today i'm going to be reviewing NARS deep throat blush, which is the most popular NARS blush next to Orgasm.  I know that there are so many reviews on this blush already, but i thought I'd just put my two sense in for you guys.  I love this blush so much, I find myself reaching for it almost everyday, so i'm really excited to finally get the opportunity to review it.  Let's get started!

Color/Scent
This blush has absolutely no scent, so it's an option for those with very sensitive noses.  The color is a very appealing pinky-peach with sparkle and it's very flattering on many skin tones.  It creates a healthy flush on your apples without looking too crazy.  The picture below of the pan was taken in the sunlight so if you refer to the left side of the pan you can really see the gold glitter bits in it.  It's not crazy in-your-face glitter like super orgasm or even orgasm, it's more understated.  The glitter is really not noticeable on your skin, but just adds to the over all healthy glow effect that Deep Throat gives to your cheeks.
Below Picture: So there's just a nice swatch for you against my skin
in natural light.
This is just a ravishing and universally flattering color.
You can see that it's a very peach toned pink.
Packaging
I really like NARS iconic packaging for its products.  it's basically a black case with 'NARS' written across the front in a simple white colored font.  The casing seems to be fairly thick and the material feels like rubber so it's very smooth and kind of slippery.  Do NOT let the thick looking casing and rubber material lull you into a false sense of security.  If you drop this blush it WILL shatter.  The packaging does nothing to protect it from that.   The black packaging and rubbery material means that this collects makeup and finger prints and dust like you have no idea, that's just a warning.  Although it seems thick, it's actually pretty thin in comparison to other blushes - like boxed blushes - and is pretty small so the packaging makes it really good for travel.  The inside houses a fair sized mirror for application on the go.
Measurements
Quick Anecdote: When i decided to purchase my very first ever NARS blush i thought that the packaging would be as big as the Laguna bronzer and i would have SO much product and i was so excited!  Well, you can imagine my surprise when i got to Sephora and saw that it wasn't that big.  So hopefully this gives you an understanding of its size).  All of the measurements were measured by me personally.
For $27 US and $29 CND you get:
0.16 OZ of product
Length of casing: 7 cm
Width of casing: approx. 5.3 cm
Length of pot: 5.2 cm
Width of pot: 3.8 cm
Height: 1 cm

Lastly, the lasting power for these blushes are pretty good.  Just a tip, although it's hard to go over board with this blush, it can happen, so be careful during application!

In Conclusion,
Color: 5/5
Scent: 5/5
Packaging: 4/5
Measurements: 4/5
Lasting Power: 5/5
Price tag: 4/5
Over all: 27/30
NARS blushes are a cult favorite and i think every woman should own at least one of them.  The price is a little steep for the amount you get considering MAC has more product and is only $17-$23 but i think quality makes up for that.  I recommend deep throat to those who want a day/night time blush because this looks natural during the day but can be layered to add a more dramatic night time look, while orgasm (which I like to describe as the big sister to deep throat) is glittery and a little too dramatic for day time i find.
